The Preparation

Proper preparation is essential to achieving the best permanent makeup results.
  • Do not tan two weeks prior to the service, or have a sunburned face

  • Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to the procedure

  • Do not use any acne, glycolic, anti-aging, or other acid products on your skin 48 hours before your appointment.

  • Do not work out the day of the procedure

  • Do not have botox 3 weeks prior to the procedure

  • Do not have lip fillers 6 weeks prior to the procedure (for lip tattoo)

  • Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior to the procedure (they are natural blood thinners)

  • Do not tint your eyelashes 3 days prior to the procedure.

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:
  • Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo.

  • Do not take an Aspirin or Ibuprofen for pain relief. (these also thin the blood)

  • Do not drink coffee or other caffeinated drinks the day of your procedure.

For Lip Procedures:
  • If you have or have had Herpes (Cold Sores), Chicken Pox, or Shingles you must take extra precautions before having permanent makeup procedures on your lips.  You must get a prescription from your Dr which should be taken at least 2 days prior to your appointment, on the day of your appointment, and at least two days after your appointment.  Alternatively you can obtain Lysine over the counter which must be taken 30 days prior to your appointment and 30 days after your appointment.  Failure to do so will result in a very serious outbreak.

  • For one week prior to your appointment keep your lips very moisturized.  (Dry or cracking skin cannot be tattooed.)

  • For 2-3 days prior to your appointment gently exfoliate your lips with a toothbrush or gentle lip exfoliant

  • Bring to your appointment your favorite lip color that you would like to mimic.  This will help us to determine which pigment to use.

For Eyeliner Procedures
  • Remove contacts prior to coming to your appointment

On the day of your appointment:
  • Wear your daily makeup to the appointment.  (This helps to determine "style")

  • It is ideal to shower and wash your hair the morning of your appointment to avoid showering the rest of the day.

  • Dress comfortably. The entire procedure can take 2-3 hours including: in-depth consultation, prenumbing, procedure & photos.
